Nick Maury brings the show. The energy Nick brings to any live show is infectious, and is an integral part of all stage performances. Preparation and understanding of the artist’s vision is key, as he has the reputation for being fully prepared for any project he is involved with. His easy going nature, fast learning ability and listening skills add to the professionalism that Nick brings to every project.
Musical education has also played an important role, as Nick is also a graduate of the L.A. Music Academy. Nick currently studies with Pete Griffin (Zappa Plays Zappa,) and has studied with Christian Olde Wolbers (Fear Factory/Arkaea, Cypress Hill) & Baba Elefante (Jean Luc Ponty.) While a student at the LAMA, Nick studied with Jerry Watts Jr. (L.A. Session Ace, Wishful Thinking), Philip Bynoe (Steve Vai), Lynne Davis, Dave LeVray (Phil Upchurch), Steve Billman (Frank Gambale) and Tony Inzalaco (Dexter Gordon).
